when this guy stays at a
hotel, he probably puts his ear up against his room wall so he can hear people
having sex in the next room….
or, when he goes to a funeral, he sits right behind the bereaved so he can hear them talk about their grief….
or, when he goes to visit a hospital, he sits next to the mother of the child who is dying so he can overhear the whole deal….
this is david e. mcgraw, a very sleazy lawyer for the new york times that has forced new york city to release the tapes of the calls that came into the emergency center from people who were about to die in the world trade center.
the game plan was for the new york times to publish these sad conversations in which people were telling the operators to pass along the message that they loved their family and that they were going to now die.
the new york times has done just that and they are using the story as a marketing tool to increase their circulation.
david gets the “hey abbott award” for this week.
the families of the people that were murdered in the world trade center attack did not want these very personal tapes released, but david and his employer won in the courts in front of an equally loony judge.
by the way, the new york times has never referred to the world trade victims as being murdered. the newspaper presents the thought that our side just happened to lose to their side, making us and them equal. like a sports event.
