federal judges should be appointed on how they look….

david trager is a federal district judge in the eastern district of new york. he is bald, wears glasses, over weight and his suits are somewhat crumpled. he gives you the appearance of man with body odor.

to put it bluntly, if you were with him at a cocktail party overseas, you would be embarrassed to introduce him as a federal judge in the united states.

but enough of this personal attack on baldy, let us tell you why he has won this week’s “hey abbott award.”

he recently ruled that it was just fine and dandy for the central intelligence agency to kidnap a canadian citizen passing through new york city’s kennedy airport and then turn him over to syria to be tortured for a year.

the way this matter came to be in baldy’s court was because the canadian who is now free, tried to sue the united states for damages. judge trager (you see we don’t always call him baldy) threw the case out of court. he said, in effect, that canadians have no rights in the united states and syria is a nifty friend of ours.

syria is piss hole of intolerance and an enemy of the united states. canada is our next door neighbor with whom we play hockey and baseball among other things.

the judge also indicated that the central intelligence agency can do whatever they want.

hopefully one day, the cia will get angry about this jerk judge and send him off to syria for a year of torture.
