pray for this guy?

mayor bloomberg says that we should pray for vado diomande.

he is the guy who may be dying from the anthrax that he smuggled into new york city.  his occupation is supposedly as a musician.  it would appear that he really is a supplier of illegally imported animal hides, which is where the anthrax was.

vado gets “the hey abbott award” for this week.  he gets it if he lives and he still gets it if he dies.

which is worse?  the foolish mayor who says we should pray for this guy or the guy himself who couldn’t have cared less about what he could have done to new york city.  by the way, health authorities say there is nothing to worry about.  anthrax diseases can not be spread from human to human.

if that is true, we would like mayor bloomberg to go to vado’s hospital bed and give him a big kiss on his lips.

this is another example of how the u.s. customs and the u.s. department of immigration are not protecting the united states.  how does a guy carry in 60 animal hides on several trips without any inspector knowing it?

vado is a resident of greenwich village in new york city.  it is the artsy craftsy section of the big apple.  it is known for its residents having rather liberal views and their generally hysterical promotion of “civil liberties.”

the greenwich village consensus is that anyone who wants to come to the united states should just walk across the border and be here.  they also have no problem with people like vado bringing in illegal items.

wouldn’t it be “the chickens coming home to roost” if the first place that there is a real bad anthrax epidemic is in greenwich village?

we will pray for vado, if someone will assure us that he will then be sent to jail if he survives.
